Since launching as Houston’s first legal whiskey distillery, we set out to utilize the unique weather of Houston to shape our process and the flavor profile of our whiskeys. Humidity plays a crucial role in aging and distillation. You could say we use the weather as part of our signature recipe.

Yellow Rose’s tale centers around these 4 bottles, each with their own character and personality. While we continually improve our craft, our original whiskey series will always have a special place in our hearts.
OUTLAW BOURBON
True to its name, this one breaks all the traditional bourbon laws. Made from 100% Texas yellow corn and aged in small American oak barrels right here in Houston. The 15-20 degree temperature swings in this part of Texas give our bourbon unique characteristics that can only be achieved here. In fact, our angel share is 15% per year, making our whiskey extremely rare and valuable to us.
Outlaw Bourbon is full-flavored with warm caramel and vanilla overtones. Our traditional pot still helps us produce a true small-batch whiskey. One sip and we think you’ll agree you’ve never had anything like it.

PREMIUM AMERICAN
This perfect mix of southern charm and rustic cowboy style has plenty of heart. Fuller in flavor than typical Canadian blends due to a higher bourbon content, it’s smooth and slightly sweet. A worthy addition to any top shelf, in Texas or around the world.

RYE WHISKEY
Enjoy whiskey the way it was before prohibition with this small batch, limited-production spirit. Made from 95% rye, this whiskey is a true American classic perfect for fine cocktails and is completely hand-selected, blended and bottled in Texas.

PALATE:
Slightly sweet, spearmint with mild pepper and maple
FINISH:
Medium finish with less pepper than other rye whiskeys
HARRIS COUNTY
Yellow Rose Harris County Straight Bourbon Whiskey is hand-made and pot-distilled in Houston, TX. Using 100% Texas-grown grains: Yellow Corn, Elbon Rye, and San Jacinto Malted Barley, then small-batch aged in the southern heat, Harris County is Texan to the core.

Brown sugar, cherry, fruit-wood smoke, toasted pecan, tobacco
PALATE:
Brown sugar, cinnamon, allspice, warm pecan pie, toasted coconut, black tea, peanuts
FINISH:
Moderately long finish with sweetness throughout, pop of cinnamon candy
